Oh, Fandoms

Seriously, nothing ruins a good show/game/book/etc more than going online to look at stuff about it, and find out it's crawling with fanboys and fangirls, poorly written fan fiction, creepy fan art, and role playing sites where someone dumps whoever they're seeing to run off with a Mary Sue-esque OC. It's sad, because it took me awhile to realize how BLEH these kind of things are. D:

I guess those could apply for the "Unpleasant Things You'll Find on the Internet" list, which is quite long. xD (I would definitely make that, bahaha)

There are sane fans, though. (And lots of nice fan art IMO, just the occasional creepy one. :'D) But it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
